General Re Corp. has announced senior appointments at the group’s global direct property/casualty reinsurance operation.
Robert M. Jones will serve as co-president and chief marketing officer for global marketing. Carole M. Ferrero will also assume the title of co-president in the capacity of global chief underwriter. Ken Lundgren has been promoted to vice chairman.
The three will report to Tad Montross, chairman and CEO of General Re Corp.
Mo Tooker, previously president of General Reinsurance Corp., has resigned from the company, according to the announcement.
Martin G. Hacala, global chief claims manager for General Reinsurance, will assume Jones’ former position as the president and CEO of General Star Management Co. and Genesis Management & Insurance Services, the group’s excess and surplus and alternative risk subsidiaries.
