Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, AG announced that Allied World North America has launched primary general liability coverage for the Canadian market.
The bulletin said the “new primary general liability team will provide capacity for a wide range of business classes and will target industries including real estate, retailers, service industries, manufacturers, light/moderate chemical manufacturing and reverse flow business.”
Gord Kerr, Senior VP and Canada Branch Manager, will oversee the team underwriting the product. Mark Bryant, Assistant VP, Casualty, will be the day-to-day contact for the team.
Kerr commented: “We continue to expand our product offerings in the Canadian market, with our new primary general liability product complementing our existing excess casualty coverage. The additional casualty layer will provide our trading partners with a more extensive solution for their clients.”
