Specialist Lloyd’s underwriter Marketform has announced the promotion of Ian West to Head of Financial and Professional Lines. He will also continue as the Class Underwriter for Financial Lines, reporting to Chief Underwriting Officer Simon Lotter.
Marketform has also promoted Antonio Bellanca to Class Underwriter, Professional Indemnity, reporting to West.
CEO John O’Neill commented: “Ian is a well-respected and experienced underwriter who has built up an enviable reputation during the more than 35 years he has been underwriting in the Professional and Financial Lines sectors; the last 9 of which have been as the Financial Lines Class Underwriter at Marketform.
“I am equally very pleased for Antonio, who joined Marketform in January 2014 with over 10 years of solid underwriting experience. He has delivered strong results to date and shown great potential in the relatively short time he has been with us.”
The announcement also pointed out that “these promotions follow on from other significant appointments made earlier this year including Scott Frazer as the Head of Claims for Marketform in Australia and Alastair McKay as new General Counsel based in London.
