Zurich Australia has appointed Raelene Seales as its new chief operating officer, General Insurance.
Seales, who is currently head of Wrap and SMSF Platforms with ANZ, will replace Shaun Feely in the COO role.
Feely has made significant contributions since joining Zurich in 2010 and has been thanked for his service, the company said in a statement.
As COO, Seales will work closely with the Australian General Insurance executive team and will lead the delivery of broker and customer service.
Seales holds a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University and has more than 20 years’ experience in banking and financial planning industries, as well as extensive knowledge in the management of distribution, product, marketing and dealership services teams.
Prior to her role at ANZ, Seales worked in senior management roles at National Australia Bank, including General Manager of Advice Services where she oversaw a large team of wealth specialists.
Seales will start her new role at Zurich in August 2015.
