Marsh has appointed Jeremy Cooke as vice chairman of Global Placement, effective immediately. Based in London, Cooke will report to Dean Klisura, global head of Industry Specialties and Placement.
In his new role, Cooke will focus on critical growth areas including complex market negotiations on facilities, quota shares and key accounts.
An insurance industry veteran and leading placement executive, Cooke was previously head of Placement for Marsh’s International Division. Prior to joining Marsh in 2003, he held senior executive positions at insurers in the U.S. and London.
Cooke is a past president of the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices Ltd. (NAPSLO) and recently, served as vice chairman of London & International Insurance Brokers Association (LIIBA).
