    Perhaps I am a dinesour but I recall many years ago two similar crashes involving BOAC de Havilland Comet airliners. The death toll was much smaller and the defect was forensically identified as weakness in design of the rear bulkhead, an airframe issue which could be readily resolved.

    de Havilland’s response was based on integrity and involved canceling the entire Comet jetliner program. Boeing, on the other hand, is basing their remedy on greed, and looking at nothing else than how quick they can get air worthy certificates for their fatally flawed Max aircraft.

    Interesting how corporate cultures changes over time!
