Just wait for the increase in bacon prices. But, as happened 2-3(?) years ago, the prices will come down quickly. Pigs have multiple litters a year. And get to market quickly. Cattle …. not so fast. Just hope you don’t live down wind from a pig farm.

the thing about bacon is it’s like coffee…the price would have to go pretty high before I’d stop buying either of ’em.

I’ve never been one to miss an opportunity to stock up on (see: hoard) bacon, sausage and pretty much anything related to ‘hog’.
I’ll use this article to explain this to my wife when she asks “Do we really need another freezer?”

in my experience in 14 years of marriage, the answer to “do we REALLY need another freezer / guitar / bigger TV / louder stereo” is always “yes” and should be considered a rhetorical question.
