But I thought marshmallows were white . . . . . such a stupid article to reference race to define the success of this organization to raise capital. Focus on skills, competencies, accomplishments, and having a vision irrespective of race, nationality, or gender.

PS – and yes, it is stupid to comment on a stupid article that references race.

Not all marshmallows are white. However, all insurance providers should share the same objective; premium in, expenses out, equals profit. So Mr. I. is right – focus on results; they should be “irrespective of race, nationality, or gender”. How’s the Unicorn doing? Too soon to tell.

I really think some people comment without actually reading the article. To wit:

Mr Integrity – why does the article reference race?

Because it’s the first unicorn company in Britain that was founded by black people!

    C. Reason – Do you REALLY think this company is hiring too many black people?

“…firm was close to 50:50 in terms of its male-female split, including female software engineers. Nearly 20% of employees were Black or from other ethnic minorities.

Doing a little math …. 20% black or other minorities – 100% = 80% of their employees are white.
