The climate change racket continues… Remember when it was called “global warming” then they conveniently changed the name to climate change? I wonder if any of these models account for population growth and the property development of non-sustainable areas? The idea that flooding in Germany or other parts of Europe is a recent phenomenon is absolutely ludicrous. I am not debating whether or not climate change is occurring–it most certainly is–however, there is a vast industry built on peddling climate fear and monetizing said fear. Notice how the solution is always more tax? Notice that those who propose said solutions are representing governments that are massively leveraged with debt? The electric car industry is a massive beneficiary of these policies but they are also some of the worst polluters. Additionally, much of this “clean energy” is powered by “dirty energy.” You can plug in your electric car which is being charged via energy derived from a coal power plant. The climate change solution? Let’s cut off locally derived “dirty” energy sources (oil, LNG, propane) and import them from placed like Saudi Arabia and Russia. Brilliant!
It’s up to a private company to make their own decisions regarding this and if it’s an issue for them specifically, they will address it. However outsiders and other special interest have been screaming for insurance companies to behave as they demand. To the special interest: Look, it’s their company, not your company. What if someone starting bullying you to stop your free speech about climate change issues? You are doing the same thing, you are trying to bully these companies to get your way. Is it okay for you to have the freedom, but not okay for anyone else? Cool it with the attitudes.
I love how everytime climate change is mentioned as it relates to insurance all the boomers come out of the woodwork to cast doubt; I get that you won’t live to see the effects but I don’t understand why you don’t want to leave a better planet for your children and future descendants. Guess all that lead really did a number on yall’s ability to reason…
