Yet anothr reason these things are more trouble than we bargained for. More forever waste batteries that have to be replaced every ten years. Even the dead and no longer useful batteries are deadly – forever. Electric vehicles sound great and very green – but they are very far from it.
We’ve used some short term and short sighted thinking to try and solve the long term problem of fossil fuels. And we’ve allowed car manufacturers to over promote the EV concept. I have no issue with making an effort to reduce, and possibly eliminate, the use of fossil fuels. A good stair step approach would have been to promote more use of hybrid technology. You still have an engine so driving distance isn’t an issue like it is with EV’s, but the MPG performance with hybrids helps reduce gas consumption. It’s a pretty good comprise until we develop batteries that last longer and are less expensive to replace. Seems like EV’s appeal to drivers with short commutes and they aren’t the one’s with large gas consumption anyway. Our electric grid would crash if everyone went out and bought an EV tomorrow.
There have been many other alternatives discovered to powering vehicles, including water. In this case, it burns the hydrogen and releases oxygen. And there’s many more. But its not mainstream – so its not broadcasted – and in fact, these great technologies have been thwarted and hidden. All pushing to one narrative – when actually, there are choices.

Until and unless a power source is found that eclipses all of the advantages of ICE power consumers will be using this system.
To date, nothing has come close.
