Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced that its claims and risk management solutions subsidiary, Gallagher Bassett, has acquired W K Webster & Co Ltd.
W K Webster specializes in marine and transit claims management, providing comprehensive services to insurers and self-insured corporations globally. Subsidiaries of W K Webster, which include ITAL, ISA, Seawise, and Pandi Claims, are also included in the transaction.
W K Webster is headquartered in London with offices in Singapore, New York and Rotterdam.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

W K Webster’s CEO Anthony Smith will continue to lead the company with his existing leadership team, under the direction of Manan Sagar, head of Gallagher Bassett’s Europe, Middle East and Asia operations.
