MNK International Acquires New Broker in Turkey
MNK International, a London-based independent Lloyd’s broker, has acquired a new broker in Türkiye for an undisclosed amount.
The business will focus on insurance and reinsurance solutions across a range of complex and specialty risks. With operations headquartered in Istanbul, MNK International Türkiye will support Turkish clients, offering tailored solutions across all business lines including property, engineering, financial lines, and aviation.
As part of MNK Group, MNK International Türkiye will benefit from access to internal group capacity including a global network of MGAs and other risk bearing entities within the group. This will enable them to offer dynamic and innovative solutions from multiple jurisdictions.
The business will be led by Erhan Ergüneş, who brings 20 years of industry experience to the role. This includes senior positions at leading insurers such as Allianz, Generali, Helvetia, and Chubb. As CEO of the business, he will spearhead efforts to deliver innovative products across a range of business lines, and leverage MNK’s global network to find solutions for emerging and complex risks.

Specialist Risk Group Buys Healthcare Consultancy, Specializing in UK Professional Sports
Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has acquired Health Partners Europe Ltd. and SEMPRIS Ltd., a group that provides specialist healthcare schemes, insurance and technology solutions to elite sport.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Founded in 1993 and based in Sutton, England, HPE provides strategic and tech-enabled services for the design and running of bespoke healthcare schemes that cater to the unique needs of elite athletes. The business supports professional athletes in some of the world’s most successful sporting competitions and operates across more than 80 sporting disciplines.
HPE has worked continuously with the Premier League (the English professional soccer league) and has maintained its position as Appointed Healthcare Advisors to the league for over 30 years.
