Green Bay, Wis. became the backdrop this week for a series of American Express Property Casualty television commercials that will begin airing this summer. It is the first time Am/Ex PC, the auto and home direct insurance division of American Express, which is headquartered in Green Bay, has attempted a television advertising campaign.
It is slated to launch mid-June in Wisconsin, with a gradual rollout to other states planned for next year and beyond. A significant rate reduction announced earlier this year provided the impetus for the campaign, designed to tell Wisconsin drivers about the dollar savings they can realize if they buy their insurance directly from a provider rather than going through an agent.
