Amerisure Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest regional property and casualty insurance groups, has promoted Ralph V. Jones, Jr. to assistant vice president-Core Service Center, Indianapolis office. He previously held the position of Core Service Center Manager, Indianapolis office.
Jones was instrumental in helping the Indianapolis office generate 2001 commercial lines premiums, which will represent 10 percent of the company’s total premiums. The office realized compounded growth of 72 percent over the last five years, while experiencing continued improvement in profitability. Jones has also been highly involved in developing the Indiana Manufacturer’s Program, and in 2000, he successfully designated two agencies as Premier Partners in Amerisure’s agency recognition and differentiation program, Partners for Success.
Jones received a B A in 1972 from Blackburn College in Carlinville, Ill.
He began his employment with Amerisure in April 1996 as Core Service Center Manager, Indianapolis.
