Fiserv Advanced Insurance Solutions (AIS), the West Des Moines, Iowa-based unit of Fiserv Inc., announced that American Skyline Insurance of Baltimore, Md., has signed an outsourcing agreement to use Fiserv AIS policy, billing, claims and statistical reporting systems.
American Skyline began operations this year, writing standard personal and commercial insurance coverage to customers in Baltimore and Washington, including policies for automobile owners, homeowners and small business owners.
Company plans include expansion into cities east of the Mississippi River. American Skyline executives say outsourcing allows the company to focus on business issues rather than on information technology.
