U.S. Olympic speedskater Casey FitzRandolph has a gold medal for his 500-meter win in Salt Lake City last winter, and now he has a new corporate sponsor in Wisconsin’s Wausau Insurance.
FitzRandolph, 28, is a native of Verona, Wis., and will make various appearances at events sponsored by the company over the next four years. The speedskater’s racing apparel will prominently feature the Wausau logo and he may also appear in other types of company publicity.
FitzRandolph said Wausau’s sponsorship will allow him to afford the best training facilities and partners in the world. Wausau is a member of the Liberty Mutual Group.
