The son of Aon Corp. CEO Patrick G. Ryan and Aon’s general counsel have left the Chicago-based brokerage’s board to be replaced by two outside directors, according to Crain’s Chicago Business.
Patrick G. Ryan Jr. was added to Aon’s board of directors last year, while General Counsel Raymond I. Skilling has been on the board for 26 years.
P.J. Kalff, formerly chairman of the managing board of ABN AMRO Holding N.V., a Dutch bank, and J. Michael Losh, a former chief financial officer for General Motors Corp., have been nominated to replace the two.
Once the moves are complete, Aon will have only two company insiders remaining on its 13-member board: CEO Ryan and Chief Operating Officer Michael D. O’Halleran.
