The Chubb Group of Insurance Cos. has appointed James Romanelli manager of its Milwaukee branch office. He is replacing Jim Darling, who was appointed manager of the Pittsburgh branch office.
Romanelli, vice president of Chubb & Son, joined Chubb in 1991 as
operations division budget and expense manager. He then served in field leadership roles in the operations services division in Rochester, N.Y., and New York City. In 1997, he was named operations services division zone manager for the New York and Eastern zones. Later, he moved to Chubb’s headquarters in Warren, N.J., to serve as U.S. field operations manager for operations services division. Most recently, Romanelli served as New York zone marketing manager.
Prior to joining Chubb, Romanelli worked on U.S. Sen. Bill Bradley’s
staff for four years, serving as controller for Bradley’s 1990 reelection campaign.
Romanelli has a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in history
from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa.
