Fick Named Farm Mutual Manager of the Year

Beverly Fick, manager of Bradford Victor-Adams Mutual Insurance, Franklin Grove, Ill., has been chosen as NAMIC’s 2003 Professional Farm Mutual Manager (PFMM) of the Year.

She was recognized during NAMIC’s Farm Mutual Conference Business Meeting in New Orleans, La.

To achieve the designation, candidates must manage a farm mutual insurance company and have had a minimum of five years’ insurance experience at the time of completion. The candidate must also have attended three NAMIC management schools within five years.

Fick was chosen by a selection committee of the Farm Mutual Conference and was presented with the award during the 108th NAMIC convention.

Fick was chosen for her involvement in the insurance industry, excellence in managing her company, innovation, fiscal responsibility and inspiration as a mentor to others. She is a past chairwoman of the board of the Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies
(MAMIC), and earned its Distinguished Service Award, as well as a place in its Hall of Fame.

Fick has been employed full-time in the insurance industry since 1974, and has been employed full-time in mutual insurance management since 1993.

Fick received the Professional Farm Mutual Manager (PFMM) designation in 1996.
