Ohio Department of Insurance Director Ann Womer Benjamin has named Holly Saelens deputy director of the department.
Saelens, 38, has been the assistant director for policy and legislation since January 2000 and recently served as the department’s interim director, pending the appointment of the current director.
Previously, Saelens served as a director of public policy services for the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association, a legislative liaison for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, and as an aide in the Ohio Senate.
