Carter “Cap” Peterson of Wayne, Nebraska was named 2005 Professional Agent of the Year by the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents during an awards luncheon on
April 9, in Arlington, Va.
Peterson was honored for his work on behalf of professional insurance agents, his commitment to the highest standards of professionalism in his industry, his active leadership in PIA and his dedication to his
community.
Peterson has served on the Board of PIA of Nebraska since the late 1980’s. He served two terms as president of PIA of Nebraska, and was selected the Nebraska Agent of the Year three times.
