Wow, this article is word for word from united press international!!! After reading the articles here, I always search the web for more on the story, which therre always is. I found the following website (running at the present time) that has a little more of a story to it. I’m not so sure State Farm was wrong after reading the article I referenced, but the jury has spoken. It may just be that the events as charged DID take place, and the pair made out quite well. If it didn’t happen the way State Farm accused, then shame on State Farm and good for the pair to stay with it and pursue the case. http://www.kansas.com//mld/kansas/news/state/12762741.htm
Great! Some attorney has now opened the floodgates of hell for all of the other attorneys looking for a new racket. I do not know the full story either, but I do know how attorneys work to always make the insurance company the bad guy.
It is next to impossible to prosecute insurance fraud. I don’t like State Farm any better than sounds like you do, but I do know that prosecutors won’t touch insurance fraud or conspiracy to commit fraud without overwhelming evidence.

So who do you work for, Snake Farm or the National Insurance Crime Bureau?

When do the State AGs and the State Insurance Commissioners start looking at this as a \”General Pratice Of Business\”?
