    It will take years to work off the corruption of the Republican party, now visible only as a regional party of the South.

    Yeah. There probably weren\’t any democrats involved in this, and I\’m sure the fund and brokers involved were all managed by republicans.

    Honestly- what does politics have to do with this? Are republicans the only party that has miscreants in it? A libertarian or democrat has never turned a blind eye to corruption? Staunchly democrat Boston has never had a financial scandal? The political views of a dirtbag shouldn\’t matter when he commits a crime.

    It\’s a sign of how poisoned our society has become that when fraud and cheating are exposed the first response isn\’t \”Shame on them\” but is instead \”Dirty republicans\”.

    I will agree with one point- the republicans seem to be rapidly losing their relevance, and morons like Rove are to blame.
