Boston-based Liberty Mutual recently announced that Raymond Waters has joined the company as a senior account executive for its Major Accounts Division. Waters will be based in Chicago, with responsibilities for meeting the insurance needs of large companies throughout the Midwest, including Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Wisconsin.
Liberty Mutual’s Major Accounts Division offers annual insurance programs valued at $25 million or more in premiums and equivalents. The Division helps companies better manage their total cost of risk by providing custom insurance programs – including coverages, risk financing, claims administration and loss control., the company statement said.
Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Waters served as vice president of business development for GAB Robins, a global provider of risk management services. He also held senior management positions with Kemper Insurance Co. and Zurich American, where he provided third party administration services to large accounts.
Liberty Mutual Group identifies itself as a diversified global insurer and sixth largest property and casualty insurer in the U.S. based on 2005 direct written premium.
