Troy, Ohio-based Hylant Group, Inc. and Dayton, Ohio-based Norman-Spencer McKernan, Inc. have received the 2006 Chairman’s Award, which is presented to the highest performing insurance agencies appointed with Indiana Insurance, a member of Liberty Mutual Group’s Agency Markets business unit.
Corporate Vice President Stephen Hylant and Norman-Spencer McKernan’s Vice President of Sales Chris George accepted their Chairman’s Awards during meetings held in June in Kauai, Hawaii. The agencies were recognized with this highest honor for their superior results during 2006. Indiana Insurance recognizes its highest performing agencies with the Chairman’s Award when an agency achieves size, growth, and loss ratio goals.
“Hylant Group and Norman-Spencer McKernan are in the top tier among our appointed agencies,” said Michael D. Connell, president and chief executive officer, Indiana Insurance. “The sustained growth and consistently high profitability required to achieve this exclusive recognition reflects the contribution that these agencies make to our mutual success and affirms our commitment to building strong relationships at the local level.”
