Imagine……..a “four named” mother of a former professional basketball player accused of torching her 1986 Benz, then charging her rights were violated by police when they questioned her. Has there ever been a “certain ethnic” that didn’t claims his/her rights were violated anytime the police question them? What a unique allegation and defense. I’m sure there are plenty of other people in Saginaw with a motive to burn a 21 year old Benz. I just wonder which underwriting idiot actually wrote comprehensive coverage on a car that old.

Some observations from a former Michigan resident. The only reason Michigan is a noteworthy state on the map is because of the American auto industry. The mental giants who ran them brought up cheap, black, labor from the south. They used the mass production/assembly line concept to build cars. The labor force was essentially un-educated and un-skilled. Their quality of living and earnings were artificially inflated because of the unions. Now that the “big 3” are sucking wind, the state is full of people who have no marketable skills and are looking for someone to bail them out. Add to the mix Coleman Young, an anti-white racist who served as mayor of Detroit for 20 years and in-grained racism and a contemptuous attitude towards white business and there you have it. Michigan of today. Pillage and plunder while you can folks. You’ve killed the golden geese and your economy is in the provergial tank.

You’re right, no ethnic group or political group seems to have a corner on asserting whatever rights a good attorney can think of to help them avoid prosecution. And I’m continually amazed how otherwise fine, upstanding citizens have no problem defrauding insurance companies. A few nights ago I admit to watching Murder, She Wrote where a man disappeared, making it appear that he had died, knowing his family would collect his life insurance. His fraud never came up in the program.

Compman, I did some searching since you referred to her as a Democrat, and found something interesting:

    http://www.wizznutzz.com/2007/09/wizznutzz-summer-film-spectaular-our.html

“Darvin is a proud new SON!!!!!!!!

Thats right This spring while awaiting trial for fraud and disrespecting a luxury automobile, Darvin’s Moms, former Saginaw Mayor Wilmer Jones-Ham married CURTIS McZEE!!!!! No, not Curtis McZee the popular Scottish music video director, but Curtis McZee the Deacon at the Hams chruch!!!
A Deacon yes, AND ALSO A BAILBONDSMAN!!!!

Miss WIlmer Jones-Ham-McTorchy-McZee is very ambitious politiically, she is like Lady McZee MacBeth , and Darvin is worried that she is up to something like that time she used playing cards to hypnotise Michael Adams for 7 years!!!!”

I thought it funny that the new husband is a bail bondsman. Comes in handy for a democrat.

With all the publicity surrounding Republicans these days especially those regarding SEX scandals, a bondsmen should come in handy for them too. Not to mention all of the Republican campaign personnel with prior drug convictions.

The City of Saginaw has been burning down house by house for 40 years. Someone I used to know referred to the symptom of a poor economy at some point reaching the point of burn, meaning intentional burn, of course. I think Michigan has reached and passed the point of burn. Why not burn cars too.

I don’t think this woman has much to worry about if she actually draws a jury of her peers. You have to know those lousy cops must have acted improperly.

…or molesting young boys and killing little girls then attempting to cover it up. I hope no more repubilicans are caught during the writers strike as I will miss Colbert and Stewart making fun of them on their respective shows.

“I just wonder which underwriting idiot actually wrote comprehensive coverage on a car that old.”

I would be one of those underwriting idiots depending on the model, condition, mileage, etc. There’s several models that could be worth over $5000 – even that old.

Of course, that would depend on my customer, if it was a mayor and mother of professional athlete I’d probably skip it assuming she could come up with $5000 if needed.

I think she was just getting ready for Hell Night next year, haven’t heard about dozens of buildings burning in Detroit this Halloween. Maybe the media figures they’re already reporting on enough war zones and didn’t need to report on the one here. Tell you what, I’d take a job as a correspondant in Iraq before I’d work as the same in Detroit.
