Sorry, don’t mean to dump on any Brooke agents. But WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU SIGNED THE CONTRACT? I checked into the “Franchise” it was a losing proposition. It was a bad business model for the agent.
That was a house of cards in the true sense. I bet if you looked at the financials, they made no money from the operations of selling insurance. If there was any margin it was probably from the pyramid schemed they ran. I hope the good people at Davidson Babcock are ok.
Does not suprise me one bit.
About 2 months ago the Brooke Insurance office next to where I work closed down. No notice the the agent that worked there. He came to work one day and was completely locked out of their system. He called his corporate office and they told him that he was closed indefinately to pack up and go home.
I was happy with the walk away deal. I havent worked in 4 years. It was the person they sold my agency to that unfortunately may have the problem. They are still open and I believe doing fine in Va. Beach, VA./Chesapeake, Va. I think they will survive.
Hey hey hey, goodbye!
Deserving for what they would do to their agents.

Pay me $160K and you can come work for us, paying your own rent, staff, office supplies, etc. How did I turn that down???
I would get letters every so often from these guys. I always threw them in the paper recycling.
