They need to let the lawyers develop a lawyer friendly work comp system with direct billing for claims filed by
K-Clinic and othe lawyer supported work comp centers.

This article is 100% absolutely sadly true. It makes me so angry that the laws in my state shield the employers and insurance companies leaving injured workers as myself screwed for the rest of our lives. Oh and good luck getting a fair and accurate impariment rating here. My report clearly says that I have dysfunctional back joints, poor mobility, and loss of function in all planes of my back…5% impariment rating. WHAT A JOKE! I can hardly get out of bed somedays and that isn’t supposed to bother me at all. And try getting pain treatment anywhere in Kansas. Some doctor over prescribes pain medication to people who overdosed and died and is going to be on his way to prison. Now, every doctor in the state is scared to provide proper pain relief for fear of the repurcussions. And? What does that have to do with me? What about the repurcussions of chronic pain and agony? $2500 for a lifetime of pain with no clear signs of relief in sight. Not to mention the mental healh care I have had to seek because I don’t know how to live like this. Kansas is such a joke. No wonder we are the laughingstock of the nation!
