Doesn’t Japan have enough problems without listening to these idiots. I hope they ignore any suggestions from these people. They are the ones trying to completely mess up insurance in Michigan. Their ideas and programs are not suitable for export.

LOL! No kidding. I hope they also talked to a randomly selected panel of Michigan motorists (hey, who invited the guy from Detroit?) to assess consumer satisfaction with the “unique” system.

It is part of the new Jafta Japanese American Free Trade Agreement. This program will wipe out the Auto Insurance industry like the prior Nafta agreement.

I’m sure when they discover that Mchigan is the ONLY state that has unlimited medical coverage for auto related injuries, they will pick a system from one of the OTHER 49 states.

I bet they didn’t stop in to talk to Gov. Jen Jen about how to run state government….

Our Michigan no-fault system is the best in the world. The michigan no-fault policy returns more benifits to the injured policyholder than any other.

It certainly does return the most of any state, at a cost. A cost that the state wants to freeze at unsustainable levels. If you have a Rolls Royce Benefit, you can’t charge Chevy prices. How long can premiums be frozen before companies lose incentive to write the coverage here. Just another example of the unfriendly business climate in Michigan. I love living here, but wonder how long we can keep pushing businesses out of this state?

Actually, there are few well run insurance companies that are doing well in Michigan. That’s why the current Governor and her administration are working more of their magic this morning in attacking insurers. Freeze rates, raise insurance company taxes, deny justified rate changes and make insurance scoring illegal are on their plate just today. Jenny can’t have any industries operating at a profit that aren’t in her back pocket.
