Medical professional liability insurance provider, Medicus Insurance Co., announced it has lowered its base rates an average of 20 percent for medical professionals in Missouri.
This rate decrease demonstrates Medicus’ commitment to supporting medical professionals with affordable, quality insurance and exceptional service, the Austin, Texas-based insurer said.
This rate decrease follows in a line of product innovations, the company said. For example, Medicus Advantage Gold is a policy endorsement that protects insured’s electronic medical records along with a suite of other policy enhancements available at no cost to the insured. Medicus was one of the first to offer such an endorsement which is now essential for medical professionals practicing in the post-medical reform era.
Medicus Insurance provides medical professional liability insurance to physicians, surgeons and related medical service providers in 20 states.
