Founders Insurance Offers Renter’s Endorsement in Illinois

Founders Insurance Co. of Des Plaines, Ill. has launched a property and liability endorsement for its personal automobile policies in the state.

The company started offering the optional renter’s coverage at the start of the year. It insures the garaging location of the vehicle against loss from various perils, as well as the renter’s liability.

Founders writes nonstandard personal and light commercial automobile and homeowners coverages, plus garage liability and liquor and general liability for the hospitality industry. The company is a member of the New Hartford, N.Y.-based Utica National Insurance Group.
