Toledo, Ohio-based insurance brokerage firm Hylant Group announced changes to its executive management team.
Richard Hylant, who previously served as president of Hylant’s Toledo office and regional vice president, will continue to lead the day-to-day operations of Hylant’s Toledo office and headquarters. In addition, he will focus on managing and developing the firm’s relationships with carrier partners and underwriters. He will also oversee the company’s many philanthropic initiatives.
John Chaney, who most recently served as president of the Cleveland office, will now focus on Hylant’s risk and industry practice resources. He will also oversee marketing and branding and customer engagement company-wide.
Regional vice president Mark Miller’s duties will expand to include management and field execution for all 12 Hylant offices in five states. He will drive client service protocols and sales initiatives relative to growth and profitability.
Bill Pridgeon, Hylant’s chief financial officer, will take on additional oversight and management of all internal operations including finance, accounting, talent management, human resources and management systems.
Founded in 1935, Hylant Group is a full-service insurance brokerage with 12 offices in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Tennessee, and employs more than 575 employees.
