Hastings Mutual Insurance Co., a property/casualty insurance carrier based in Hastings, Mich., appointed Renee Beauford as the company’s new vice president of Claims.
Specializing in claims management, Beauford brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience to the Hastings Mutual executive team.
Beauford joined Hastings Mutual in 2007 and previously served as the claims field director. Her claims experience is broad and includes expertise in litigation, claims adjusting, reserve setting, and strategic leadership.
Prior to working for Hastings Mutual, Renee worked for Hartford Insurance Group and Zurich Insurance in Indianapolis, Ind. Beauford has obtained an Associate in Claims and a Senior Claim Law Associate designation.
Founded in 1885, Hastings Mutual operates in six the Midwestern states of Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
