I lived in Minneapolis for a time and loved it there, but I have to say that the only time I had a collision with a deer was when I was living there. The pros of that fine city outweigh any negatives though.
As a resident of the great state of MN I can assure that Deer hits in and around the metro are almost annoyingly prevalent. I feel like drivers in the metro tend to be less alert about them than do those out in the more areas and obviously there are fewer places to go to avoid a deer though as we all know its better to hit the deer than to to hit the light pole avoiding the deer.
