“wouldn’t face deportation under certain conditions.”

Wonder if those “conditions” include applying for legal citizenship? Follow the rules, drivers licenses aren’t a problem.

We’re a nation of laws…which we only enforce if we don’t like you or happen to be in the mood and it’s not getting near quitting time.

Just because they are, for the moment, not subject to deportation doesn’t alter the fact that they are here illegally. Since licensing laws are a state matter, not a federal one, the suit should not even be considered.

Better to have drivers license and insurance. Its just to drive a car… However, since we all know a drivers license is really our National and State ID card, (we just don’t call it by it’s real name) They are concerned the card could be used to give them legal status. Who cares…

While the state now has their legal address, maybe INS/ICE should visit the home and see who lives their that is not protected under the “new federal immigration policy” and send them back to where they came from.

Maybe someone should visit your home also. Make sure your not breaking any laws and confirm your ancestors did not break any laws entering this country. Ask you and your family to leave if found to come over illegaly on that there May Flower. Ha ha Probably should Check your voter ID Card too!

        Oh Taxpayer-

I would be pleased to have a voter ID law in place with a photo ID for EVERYONE who plans on voting. In fact I believe that anyone who does not pay taxes, has been convicted of a felony, has been treated for mental illness and not released by two independent doctors should not be allowed to vote. Why let incompetents affect an election?

I am not an illegal alien so if someone wants to visit my home they are welcome. I also have a clean criminal record as does the rest of my family. Since I have been a CEO at a couple of different companies, my finger prints are on file with every state insurance department in the US and on record with the FBI. So I have nothing to hide. Unlike the 10, 15 or maybe 20 million deadbeats who crossed our borders ILLEGALLY and who leach off the the US government. To which the President plans to do nothing.
How about you taxpayer? Or is taxpayer a ruse to hide behind?

I agree with Marvin. This is a state issue, and a federal judge shouldn’t even entertain it. The feds need to quit trampling all over states’ rights.

the only time the right actually cares about rights is when it seems to go in their favor.

Ha, the only time the left cares about rights is when they can milk something out of the federal government for free.

Gotta side with Sarge. If they are here illgeally, get them out of here. I have a feeling they are taking a legal citizens job that needs to feed his/her family. And yes, go ahead and send whom ever you want by my house. I pay my taxxes. I obey the laws. And yes, my Gr Parents came in legally, went through all the hoops and spoke ENGLISH. They did not complain to have signs put up in their native language. They addapted to us, not us to them. When I was around them, they always spoke ENGLISH unless they were on the phone talking to family from where they came from.

Illegal implies a criinal act. We have more then enough criminals here.
