Whatever the final ruling, no employer should EVER, EVER be allowed to drag out and delay a settlement for more than one year. If it goes over a year, a LARGE penalty should be added on to the final settlement. I have seen several people die and their families get nothing under the current system of delays.
Wonder why Missouri employers with less than 5 employees do not participate in workman’s comp? I believe that is correct. Please correct if wrong. Employee working along side three others can get hurt as easily and as much as a 6 person company.employee
