Daniel (Dan) Maloney has joined Northbrook, Ill.-based Encompass Insurance as vice president of sales. He reports to the company’s president, Tom Ealy.
Maloney comes to Encompass from Kemper Specialty, a $500 million business unit of Kemper Corp., where he served as vice president of sales and marketing. Maloney’s 14 years with Kemper also included stints as a regional vice president and vice president of human resources and organizational development.
Part of the Allstate group of companies, Encompass distributes its personal insurance products through approximately 2,800 independent agencies.
