James Woodard has been named president of Insurance Program Managers at The Sandner Group, headquartered in Chicago.
Woodard was previously president of the group’s Alternative Risk Solutions company.
The Sandner Group is a subsidiary of Brokers’ Risk Placement Service Inc.
Insurance Program Managers is a consulting and program administration firm specializing in the design, implementation, and management of alternative risk financing, focusing on self-insurance programs.
Prior to his career in the finance and insurance industries, Woodard served in the United States Army and United States Army Reserves as a captain in the Nurse Corps for 13 years.
