Vanliner Insurance Co., based in Fenton, Mo., has introduced Move-CAP, an alternative risk transfer (ART) insurance program developed exclusively for best-in-class moving and storage companies.
Move-CAP is Vanliner’s third group captive program designed specifically for premier moving and storage operations.
Over the past two and a half years, Vanliner has grown its ART business to include three group captives representing over 50 members.
Move-CAP is Vanliner’s first group captive open to all moving and storage companies regardless of van line affiliation. The program brings moving and storage agents together to form their own insurance program achieving more predictable insurance premiums throughout various market cycles and economic conditions.
Move-CAP also offers many other valuable benefits including safety tools and the opportunity to receive a return of unused premiums and investment income, with a goal of lowering overall costs.
