Wholesale insurance broker and general agency, Donald Gaddis Co. Inc., has purchased rights to all the renewals of Kelly and Elliott Ltd. Both companies are headquartered in Chicago.
Gaddis also hired all of Kelly and Elliott’s employees. The transaction was effective Dec. 1.
Chris Gaddis, president of Donald Gaddis Co., commented that the “merger places additional markets, products, and talent at our disposal. In particular, we will expand our presence in Illinois liquor liability, casualty brokerage and binding authority, and professional/management liability.”
Donald Gaddis Co. was founded in 1982. Kelly and Elliott was established in 1985. Both are wholesale insurance brokerages that specialize in securing commercial property, casualty and professional liability coverage for the clients of their retail agent partners.
