Global specialty insurer and reinsurer Brit Ltd (Brit) has appointed Nick Pozzebon to lead its existing Chicago-based U.S. property facultative team for Brit Global Specialty USA, reporting to Noreen Metcalfe.
Pozzebon brings more than eight years of sector expertise and joins from Ascot where he was latterly SVP, Property Facultative Reinsurance.
The appointment follows the launch earlier this year of a new general liability team and the appointment of Kent Stepanishen as senior vice president to lead the new inland marine team for Brit Global Specialty USA. The hires are part of Brit’s strategy to expand its footprint in North America and to focus on growing profitably in specialist areas where it has significant expertise and experience.
