J.M. Wilson has hired Ashley Montgomery as assistant underwriter in its Kansas City, Mo., office.
Montgomery assists the property/casualty and transportation underwriting departments with setting up and binding policies for issuance, corresponding with company underwriters, and serving independent insurance agents in Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Oklahoma.
Prior to joining J.M. Wilson, Montgomery was an assistant underwriter in the endorsement unit for a national processing center.

Previously, she was an administrative assistant providing support to the AVP and the supervisory staff in a national processing center.
Montgomery is currently pursuing an AINS (Associate in General Insurance) designation.
