Amazon does a poor job of training, perhaps, but their goal is to eliminate employees except for programmers. Some of their newer warehouses, they only have people pushing button and the robots do the work. In a very short time it will be the customers and who push the buttons. Their delivery people in uraban areas now are all independents who hire minimum wage (or almost min) unskilled drivers.
