When you speak up against an injustice, you run the risk of losing your job; hence we have bullies carrying on any way they wish and tyrannizing staff.

      Squeaky,
Did you not read the same article as I did. Although not significant detail according to the defendant the termination was a result of posting on social media about security issues. If this is true the plaintiff put all of the kids at risk.

Wish my kid went to school there I would sue the worker for the risk that she put my kid through.

Security issues, really? Sounds like the security issue was that no one was protecting the child. So other kids and trolls can post whatever they want online and torment a child, but when a mother gets involved online to protect her child, it’s labeled as a security issue to the school? That’s complete bullshit. Obviously, no one cared about the abuse at this school and wanted to sweep it under the rug, yet again. Until you’re a parent facing this kind of abuse on your children, you are in no place to comment. I agree, Squeaky Wheel, squeak louder!!!

If I worked at a school and my daughter was being sexually harassed and nothing was being done about it, that to me is a violation of safety. I would think there is a reasonable expectation that a student can safely go about the business of learning without being sexually harassed. The daughter was eventually pulled out of the school the situation was so bad. I’d tell everyone who’d listen.
