Bailey Named Surety Underwriting Manager at Iowa’s UFG Insurance

Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based UFG Insurance has hired Scott Bailey as surety underwriting manager.

He will succeed current surety underwriting manager, Art Fearn, who is retiring after a successful 15-year career with the company.

Bailey brings more than 35 years of experience to his new role at UFG, most recently with Frankenmuth Surety as senior director of credit and risk.

He has also held positions at United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co., The St. Paul, Travelers and Merchants Bonding Co.
