They need to quit forcing P&C insurance carriers to function as health insurance companies. Michigan’s unlimited medical PIP is absurd and ultimately ends up punishing poor people who cannot afford the exorbitant rates and are subsequently are forced to go uninsured. Unlimited medical sounds great, but P&C carriers are not equipped and do not have the expertise to function as health insurers.
