June 18, 2019

High Street Insurance Partners (High Street), a Michigan-based provider of commercial insurance, personal lines and employee benefits services, has appointed Dave Tuitas as senior partner and chief financial officer.

Tuit joins a management team led by High Street executives Scott Wick, managing partner and chief executive officer, and Randall Koch, managing director and chief operating officer, to help pursue continued growth through additional expansion opportunities in the insurance agency market.

Tuit, 51, brings more than 29 years of experience in financial and operational leadership roles in a variety of industries, including insurance.

Most recently, Tuit served as CFO and treasurer for Acrisure where he spearheaded organizational growth and profitability. He has also led finance and operations for the strategic investment/business development arm of Amway.

High Street, one of 15 Huron Capital ExecFactor initiatives, was formed in August 2018 to pursue a buy-and-build strategy through add-on acquisitions in the insurance agency market. It has completed four acquisitions since its formation.

Based in Detroit, Huron Capital is an operationally-focused private equity firm with a long history of growing lower middle-market companies through its ExecFactor buy-and-build investment model. Huron Capital targets both control and non-control equity stakes in fundamentally-sound companies that can benefit from the firm’s operational approach to creating value. Huron Capital’s sector focus includes business services, consumer products and services, and specialty industrials.
