One has to wonder just how a jury will settle on the “life value” of George Floyd. A convicted criminal, involved with Minneapolis police who responded to a shop keeper’s call that Floyd had passed a counterfeit $20.00 bill, was employed as a bouncer at a “nightclub”, and had children spread all over the country, most of whom were adults and not his dependents. What life value was lost? I don’t mean what “value” was lost, because a human life is in fact invaluable, but what value to his family and the country was lost? What economic void does the death of Floyd open? If Mr. Crump, who is quickly replacing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton as the leading race baiter in our nation really is concerned with “healing”, might I suggest that he direct any award to the vast list of businesses that were vandalized, looted, and left as lifeless as Mr. Floyd?
