Frankenmuth Insurance in Frankenmuth, Michigan, has added Rich Schumacher as regional director for the Midwest Region.
Schumacher brings 28 years of experience in the industry, most recently serving as associate vice president of sales for Harleysville/Nationwide Insurance where he worked for 14 years.
He will oversee a team of field managers, loss control consultants and underwriters to serve the needs of agencies and policyholders in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Wisconsin.
In operation for more than 150 years, Frankenmuth Insurance has more than 750 employees and offers insurance property/casualty and life insurance products in 15 states.
