LPGA’s Hannah Green Wins Aon Risk Challenge Prize of $1 Million

November 17, 2021

Hannah Green of the LPGA Tour has won the 2021 Aon Risk Reward Challenge, a season-long competition that recognizes players who use information and insight to make better decisions on the golf course.

Green joins the PGA Tour’s Matthew Wolff as winners of the challenge, which comes with a $1 million award.

Green birded 72% and eagled almost 10% of the Aon Risk Reward Challenge holes that counted within the 40 minimum rounds necessary to qualify for the challenge.

“Winning this season-long competition means so much to me,” Green said. “Because of the focus on decision making, winning really validates the level of solid strategic play that I am capable of. The fact that the Aon Risk Reward Challenge runs across both Tours, and represents equality in the work, strategy and effort that both men and women put behind their game, just makes it that much more special – I’m so excited to join Matthew Wolff as this year’s winner and can’t thank Aon enough for creating this opportunity.”

Chicago-based Aon is also a sponsor of the Ryder Cup’s Nicklaus-Jacklin Award, which recognizes better decisions in sportsmanship, teamwork and performance.
